Wuhan International Plastics, Rubber and Packaging Industry Exhibition set for September 2-5, 2020

The event is officially named 2020 China (Wuhan) International Plastics, Rubber and Packaging Industry Exhibition.

Its English identity is 2020 China (Wuhan) International Plastic, Rubber and Packaging Industry Exhibition.

It serves as a specialist showcase and sourcing platform for the plastics, rubber and packaging value chain.

Dates: September 2-5, 2020. Venue: Halls B1-B5, Wuhan International Expo Center, Hanyang.

Hosts: Wuhan Municipal People's Government and Hubei Provincial Department of Commerce.

Supporting organizer: Wuhan Municipal Bureau of Commerce.

Supporting bodies include the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products, China Machinery Industry Federation, and The Export-Import Bank of China.

Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers' Association and Taiwan Association of Machinery Industry also participate in supporting roles.

International support comes from the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) and the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA).

The China International Machinery and Electronic Products Expo is a key equipment manufacturing exhibition co-hosted by the Wuhan Municipal People's Government and the Hubei Provincial Department of Commerce. The 20th edition, held November 1-4, 2019, ran for four days under the theme Industrial Integration, Intelligent Manufacturing for the Future. It attracted 36,315 professional visitors from China and overseas. Nearly 20 professional forums took place alongside the show, and technical staff from more than 30 industry associations, enterprise groups and R&D institutions formed professional buyer delegations for on-site visits and purchasing.

For 2020, the Wuhan Machinery Expo plans zones covering CNC machine tools and metal processing, industrial automation and robotics, manufacturing informatization, plastics and packaging industry, hardware and electromechanical products, automotive equipment manufacturing, mold industry and 3D printing technology, new energy vehicles and new energy, intelligent logistics and warehousing equipment and new technologies. The organizer expects 650 exhibitors, 50,000 square meters of exhibition space, and 40,000 professional visitors.

As a major themed zone of the China International Machinery and Electronic Products Expo, the Wuhan International Plastics, Rubber and Packaging Industry Exhibition is rooted in Hubei and reaches Central China and beyond. It has established influence in the plastics sector and draws many well-known domestic and international companies each year.
