Wuxi Evaluation Confirms Two Smart Fruit and Vegetable Processing Equipment Innovations as Domestically Leading and Internationally Advanced

On September 28, the China Food and Packaging Machinery Industry Association hosted a technological achievement evaluation meeting at Jiangsu Kaiyi Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., bringing together experts to review two fruit and vegetable deep-processing equipment projects: 'Intelligent and Efficient Crushing and Thawing Technology and Equipment for Barrel-Packed Frozen Fruit and Vegetable Juice' and 'Intelligent, Precise, Energy-Saving and Environmentally Friendly Hot Air Drying Technology and Equipment.' Chen Jian, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Director of the Academic Committee of Jiangnan University and Professor at the Future Food Science Center, served as chairman. Chu Yufeng, Researcher, former Chairman of the China Food and Packaging Machinery Industry Association and Director of its Expert Committee, and Wang Zhe, Researcher and Chairman of the Brewing Food Branch of the Chinese Institute of Food Science and Technology, were vice chairmen. The committee also included Liao Xiaojun, Dean of the College of Food Science and Nutritional Engineering at China Agricultural University, and Professor Gao Yanxiang; Zhu Fengtao, Chief Expert at the Jinan Fruit Research Institute of the All China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives, Taishan Industry Leading Talent and Researcher; Dong Hailong, Chief Engineer and Deputy General Manager of Jiangsu Newamstar Packaging Machinery Co., Ltd.; Shan Dan, General Manager of Chuangxin Co., Ltd.; and Ding Renting, General Manager of Qingdao Huakun Food Group Co., Ltd. The experts verified documents, raised technical questions and deliberated collectively, conducting a comprehensive and rigorous appraisal of innovation points, process advancement and industrialization value. The committee unanimously agreed that both achievements target real industry pain points, integrate intelligent sensing, precise control and energy-saving optimization into equipment, overcome traditional processing bottlenecks, and create safe, efficient, low-carbon, scalable and domestically developed complete solutions, with overall technology reaching domestically leading and internationally advanced levels. The crushing and thawing project addresses long thawing times, nutrient loss and high energy consumption, uniting efficient thawing with nutrition and flavor retention. The hot air drying project applies multi-stage precise drying, online monitoring and control and other innovations to improve dried-product quality while supporting the 'dual carbon' strategy. The successful evaluation is authoritative recognition of the R&D team's innovation capability at Jiangsu Kaiyi Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. It also gives an authoritative basis for industrialization, market promotion, deeper industry-university-research cooperation and standard drafting, further strengthening the foundation for independent innovation in China's core fruit and vegetable deep-processing equipment and marking an important breakthrough in intelligent and energy-saving equipment for the sector.
