China Packaging Federation E-Commerce Committee Opens Expert Database Nominations, Deadline March 15, 2014

To relevant associations, colleges and universities, organizations, and professionals:

Under the CPC Central Committee's outline for the 12th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development and the China Packaging Federation's 12th Five-Year Plan for Building the World Packaging Industry Center, the China Packaging Federation E-Commerce Committee Preparatory Committee (the CPF E-Commerce Committee) is working to advance e-commerce and information technology adoption in packaging. To solve practical difficulties in production management, e-commerce, marketing, and logistics for packaging enterprises, and to raise industry competitiveness and influence, it has decided to begin recommendations for a China packaging industry expert committee database. The notice is as follows:

I. Recommendation methods and material requirements for expert committee members:

Two methods are available: organization recommendation and individual self-nomination.

(1) Organization/institution recommendation

Recommending organizations and personnel should refer to the Conditions for Inclusion in the Expert Committee Database (Attachment 1) and recommend professional and technical personnel for the CPF E-Commerce Committee expert database. An organization/institution recommendation must submit: a copy of the business license, the organization code certificate, the CPF E-Commerce Committee expert committee database recommendation form, and one copy each of the recommended person's professional and technical title certificate and ID card.

(2) Individual self-nomination

Professional and technical personnel who meet the database inclusion conditions may apply by self-nomination to serve as expert committee members. Application materials must be reviewed by the applicant's organization/institution before submission. Individual applicants must submit: the CPF E-Commerce Committee expert committee database recommendation form, plus one copy each of the professional and technical title certificate and ID card. The form can be downloaded and viewed under “Membership Application” in the “Overview of the E-Commerce Committee” section on the CPF E-Commerce Committee website.

II. Material review requirements

The employer should review the applicant's materials for authenticity, completeness, and legality, and provide objective and accurate review comments on political and ideological performance, professional and technical achievements, work ability and level, and other work performance.

III. Material submission

Recommending organizations and self-nominated applicants should submit paper materials and electronic documents meeting the above requirements (electronic documents may be sent by email or submitted on a floppy disk) to the CPF E-Commerce Committee (Preparatory) by March 15, 2014.
