This annual trade show has completed fifteen successful editions and stands as Southeast Asia's largest and most comprehensive international logistics trade exhibition. Alongside the exhibition, multi-theme international conferences and a series of lectures will bring invited professionals together to discuss logistics supply chain, logistics transport and related industry topics.

The 2019 edition covered nearly 10,000 sq m. It drew close to 200 exhibitors from China, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Laos, Myanmar, China Taiwan and other countries and regions, plus more than 8,000 professional visitors. The show aims to advance logistics exchange and cooperation in Southeast Asia and build an ASEAN regional logistics network. It provides a business exchange platform for logistics service providers and customers in Southeast Asia, particularly the Greater Mekong Subregion—Thailand, China, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam.

Thailand is Southeast Asia's most important country, with active foreign trade; 70% of its GDP depends on exports, and logistics is one of the country's four most important pillar industries. Because Thai products are similar to those of neighboring countries, competition has intensified compared with the past. How well logistics services and related industries perform will be decisive, especially when product quality and price are comparable. This has made competition in Thailand's logistics sector even sharper.

The Thai government gives the logistics sector top priority and strong backing, aiming to turn Thailand into ASEAN's logistics and shipping hub. Thai officials have said that China is one of the countries Thailand values most, and that the two sides will cooperate in road, rail, aviation and other fields in the future, creating opportunities for many Chinese companies.

Since the Southeast Asian Free Trade Area was introduced, Thailand is set to become a major logistics hub. With a population of more than 600 million, the free trade area will greatly boost Thailand's trade with Cambodia, Laos and Malaysia, as well as with neighboring countries such as China, India and Vietnam. Thailand sits at a strategic crossroads between the mainland and Southeast Asia and shares 5,582 km of borders with four neighboring countries. It is a top-seven global manufacturing nation, ranks first worldwide in light pickup production, is the world's second-largest hard disk producer, ranks among global leaders in electrical goods production, is the second-largest air conditioner producer and fourth-largest refrigerator producer, is a global top-10 food producer and exporter, and is ASEAN's largest cosmetics exporter. Major infrastructure projects now under way are linking Southeast Asian countries with one another and with other parts of the mainland, bringing business opportunities to many Chinese logistics equipment manufacturers.
