As part of a Bag-in-Box (BIB) packaging line, this wine stand-up valve pouch is built for wineries that sell several varietals in several volumes. Red and white wines can be separated by tone, while gifting formats gain a pouch silhouette that is easy to recognise. Body colour and printed artwork are customised per wine. The tapered shape — narrower at the top, wider at the base — spreads the filled load evenly, keeps the pouch from distorting, and lets it stand on a wine rack on its own. The valve outlet pours under control and closes again repeatedly; after opening, the wine oxidises more slowly, which suits by-the-glass service in foodservice and everyday home drinking. Depending on how much light protection the wine requires, the laminate can use metallised or pure aluminium constructions, and capacities from 1.5L to 10L can be developed. The pouch face can carry the winery mark, varietal, vintage and volume to your design.
