Air contact is the main cause of oxidation in wine, which is why bag-in-box has become an established format in the wine trade. The flexible inner bag collapses as wine is dispensed, leaving virtually no headspace once the liquid level drops, so an opened box keeps its flavour stable for a good length of time and is better suited than glass to by-the-glass restaurant service and everyday household drinking. Made by Dongguan Kangdi Packaging, this 5L red wine BIB uses a wine-red paperboard carton, an aluminium foil-laminate inner bag and a red valve outlet. Together they provide light protection, oxygen barrier and smooth pouring. The carton has a die-cut carry structure for easier handling and display. Keep the valve downward and wine is ready whenever needed, with no need to move the whole box. Carton printing can be customised to your brand, while inner bag capacity, film structure and valve diameter are selectable; standard options span 3L to 5L.
