Visitor Pre-Registration Begins for 2021 Shanghai Express Delivery & Logistics Exhibition; Packaging Materials and Technology Included

Visitor pre-registration is now open for the 2021 Shanghai Express Delivery and Logistics Exhibition. To protect attendees’ health and safety, the event will operate under the support and guidance of relevant Shanghai administrative departments, with comprehensive prevention and control measures and emergency plans. The venue will coordinate cleaning and disinfection of public areas, ventilation and temperature checks, and a medical service point will be set up. All participants must make online reservations and follow the real-name entry system, helping ensure a safe, orderly and productive exhibition.

China’s express delivery industry has ranked first in the world for many consecutive years and remains a major driving force behind the rapid growth of the global postal and express sector. The exhibition will be held at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center to showcase the industry’s recent achievements and explore new paths for its development in the new era. The co-located Express Delivery Industry Development and Services Summit Forum will address the express delivery industry directly, covering intelligent manufacturing, technology empowerment, market hotspots and practical case studies to create a valuable exchange of ideas.

The organizing committee sincerely invites R&D and technical teams, procurement staff and company executives from express logistics; retail (footwear and apparel, FMCG, pharmaceuticals, household chemicals, beauty and cosmetics); e-commerce; cross-border e-commerce; logistics parks; transportation; manufacturing; research institutes and universities, among other sectors. To better serve industry leaders from all directions and reduce on-site queuing and crowding, visitors are encouraged to complete their information before the show.

The show continues to add highlights, with the organizing committee creating a dedicated “Express Logistics Research Institution Achievement Transformation and Talent Matching Zone.” This area aims to strengthen enterprises’ understanding of their role in transforming scientific and technological achievements, improve talent supply, and help research institute technologies be applied in product development and production—an important route for accelerating commercialization.

The exhibition scope covers express logistics companies; logistics supply chain enterprises; warehousing services and real estate; new energy logistics vehicles; packaging materials and technology; automated equipment (sorting, conveying, loading and unloading, automated forklifts and unmanned handling); smart warehousing equipment (palletizing systems, automated stereoscopic warehouses, automated conveying systems and pallets); information equipment (automated terminal devices, electronic labels, printers and order systems); smart logistics technology and equipment; and cold chain logistics. Together, these segments form a one-stop service platform for the express logistics industry.

Co-located forums include the Express Delivery Industry Development and Services Summit Forum at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center. Guiding organizations are the Shanghai Postal Administration and the China Express Delivery Industry Association; the organizer is the Shanghai Express Delivery Industry Association; supporting organizations include the Jiangsu Express Delivery Association, Zhejiang Express Delivery Industry Association and Anhui Express Delivery Association.

Another co-located event is the China Warehousing and Logistics Innovation and Development Summit Forum and Smart Warehousing, Distribution, Cold Chain and Logistics Service Industry Development Forum, also at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center. The guiding organization is the China Warehousing and Distribution Association. Hosts include the Storage and Transportation Research Branch of the China Commercial Economics Society, the Logistics and Supply Chain Committee of the Shanghai Federation of Modern Service Industries, the Shanghai Logistics Association, the Shanghai Warehousing and Distribution Industry Association and the Shanghai Pharmaceutical Development Promotion Association. Organizers include the Shanghai Warehousing and Distribution Industry Association, Logistics Engineering and Management Magazine, Shipping Technology Service Co., Ltd. and the Shanghai Pharmaceutical Development Promotion Association.

For the visit schedule, attendees should note the admission times, with entry starting at 09:00. The Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center’s north entrance is on Bocheng Road, Pudong New Area (near Zhoujiadu Road). Visitors can reach Yaohua Road Station by Metro from Pudong Airport, Hongqiao Airport, Shanghai Railway Station, Shanghai South Railway Station and the Shanghai Hongqiao Transportation Hub, with transfers as needed. Self-driving visitors should note Shanghai’s new restrictions for non-local license plates. The organizing committee has also selected hotels at cooperative agreement rates and offers customers who register before the specified date benefits such as seats at on-site forums, one copy of the exhibition catalogue, lounge access with coffee and desserts, and free booking of cost-effective dining, hotel accommodation and return tickets around the venue.

Epidemic prevention and control rules during the exhibition include: no entry without a green code; no entry with a body temperature above 37.3°C; ID card swipe for hall entry; mandatory real-name online registration; crowd diversion to avoid congestion; and daily disinfection of venues and booths. To pre-register, visitors can search for “Shanghai Express Exhibition” on WeChat, follow the official account, and click “Visitor Pre-Registration” under Visitor Services; they can also visit www.shesye.com and click Visitor Registration, or scan the QR code and fill in the form directly. If the Suishen Code cannot be obtained, visitors may send the text message “CXMYD#” to check places visited within the required period; only those who have not visited or passed through high-risk epidemic areas may enter.
