The 10th Chengdu Printing and Packaging Industry Expo (the 'Chengdu Print & Pack Expo') was successfully held on July 10-12, 2020, at the Chengdu Century City New International Convention and Exhibition Center. Jointly organized and planned by Sichuan Dena Exhibition Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Modern International Exhibition Co., Ltd., it was western China's first professional printing and packaging industry exhibition in 2020. Its safe attendance measures, combined exhibition and forum/summit format, full-industry-chain coverage, and concentrated launches of new products and equipment demonstrated professional, branded and scaled strengths while helping western China's printing and packaging industry recover in the post-pandemic period.

Guests in attendance included Zhou Shilin, president of the Chengdu Packaging Technology Association; Liu Jun, president of the Chongqing Packaging Association; Zou Qiong, secretary-general of the Chongqing Packaging Association; Li Jianbing, secretary-general of the Chengdu Packaging Technology Association; Wang Wenji, chairman of the Luzhou Printing and Packaging Technology Association; Chen Erkang, executive vice chairman of the Yibin Printing Association; Hu Qiming, vice chairman of the Guang'an Printing Technology Association; Zhu Muyi, vice chairman of the Dazhou Printing Association; Deng Xuemei, deputy secretary-general of the Mianyang Printing Industry Association; Shui Gang, deputy general manager of Sichuan Yibin Licai Group Co., Ltd.; Wang Shatong, anti-counterfeiting technology supervisor at Sichuan Yibin Pulasi Packaging Materials Co., Ltd.; Li Jianxiang, founder of An'an Legal; Wang Guohui, general manager of Luzhou Huaguan Color Printing Co., Ltd.; Zhao Shizheng, chairman of Zhongyin Supply Chain Management Chengdu Co., Ltd.; Lin Wenwu, marketing director of China Guowang Group; Xin Jilong, chairman of Haixue Adhesive Technology Co., Ltd.; and Su Hongbo, general manager of Hangzhou Pinxiang Technology Co., Ltd., among others. The response was enthusiastic.

The expo covered more than 30,000 sq m of gross exhibition space and gathered around 300 brands and exhibitors. It featured four zones: printing equipment and materials, paper packaging equipment and materials, label printing, and digital quick printing equipment and materials. More than 300 well-known domestic and international brands appeared, including Guowang Group, Gaosheng Machinery, Jindewu, Hanye, Kema, Tiancen, Huoquan Machinery, Shunxiang, Xiangbao, Yinzhimei, Haorun, Nanhong, Zhiruixin, Chuangxin Weiye, Xinkaijiang, Haoxin, Jiehang, Xindianluo, Yulong, Heng'ao Shiji, Shenxing, Huaguang, Jialite, Kaijiang, and others. They met the sourcing needs of industry buyers, created technical exchange opportunities for domestic and international companies, and provided a platform for exploring the western China market, earning positive feedback from buyers and trade visitors.

It is reported that transaction value at the expo exceeded RMB 30 million, while visitor numbers surpassed 20,000. Under normalized professional COVID-19 prevention and control, and through the efforts of all parties, the exhibition results and on-site services received widespread praise.

In parallel, the expo hosted events such as the '2020 Third Western China (Chengdu) Liquor Packaging Industry Summit Forum,' the 'Fourth Session of the Eighth Member Congress of the Chengdu Packaging Technology Association,' the '2020 Chengdu Liquor Packaging Boutique Exhibition,' the '2020 Chengdu Packaging Boutique Exhibition,' and the 'Buy Equipment, Get Travel Subsidy' promotion, generating strong responses. During the show, printing and packaging associations from more than 30 provinces and cities across China organized delegations to visit and source. With a format combining exhibition, boutique show and training session, the expo aimed to build western China's leading printing and packaging industry event.
