Organized by Shanghai UBM Sinoexpo International Exhibition Co., Ltd., ProPak China 2021, a key domestic processing and packaging industry event, is scheduled for June 23-25, 2021 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). It will join the 21st Shanghai International Food Processing and Packaging Machinery Exhibition (FoodPack China 2021), hosted by the China Food and Packaging Machinery Industry Association and China National Packaging and Food Machinery Co., Ltd., to form the 2021 Shanghai International Food Processing and Packaging Machinery Exhibition Joint Show.

The 27th Shanghai International Processing and Packaging Exhibition (ProPak China 2021) will join the 21st Shanghai International Food Processing and Packaging Machinery Exhibition (FoodPack China 2021), a brand show under China National Packaging and Food Machinery Co., Ltd. and the China Food and Packaging Machinery Industry Association, to create the flagship event of China's processing and packaging industry. It will take place on June 23-25, 2021 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai).
The joint show works with concurrent brand exhibitions on natural ingredients, food ingredients, nutritional health products, and the starch industry, forming a China processing industry gathering that spans all parts of the industrial chain with diverse interconnection and mutual synergy.

Exhibitor feedback from the previous edition
Tom Egan, Vice President of the U.S. Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Association (PMMI), said more than 40 member companies exhibited at ProPak China. Members were active and brought a full range of packaging solutions to global consumer goods and materials companies. He noted that China's packaging market is large and successful, and expressed hope that PMMI members can provide solutions for the China market and continue to achieve strong business results.
Massimo Pietra, Sales Director of Italy's CAMA Group, said the company has participated in ProPak China for many years. The show provides a platform and window to meet new customers while staying connected with existing ones. As in previous years, they were very satisfied with the results.
Markus B?hringer, Director of Consumer Goods and Medical Devices at Germany's KOCH, said the company met many potential customers at the show and has many new cooperation projects underway. This was its fourth time at ProPak China because, in Asia's packaging industry, ProPak is the largest show and the most important one for the company. It will definitely return next year.
James Taraborelli, Asia Director of Canada's Paxiom Group, said weighing machines, bagging machines, filling machines, cartoning machines, and increasingly robotics can be seen throughout the show. The event provides an excellent stage for automation technology and reflects the rapid growth of the China market. He is optimistic about the show's prospects, noting that the number of exhibitors grew by about 20% this edition, the booth was always crowded, and he hopes ProPak will grow together with the China market.
Stéphane Rayneau, Dairy and Cheese Equipment Sales Engineer at France's TECNAL, believes China's cheese market will grow considerably in the coming years. Attending the show is a starting point for connecting with potential customers. They met some companies interested in their products and will continue to develop those leads. The show was very well organized, and they were very satisfied.
Shigeru Ueda, President of Japan's Shikoku Kakoki Co., Ltd., said the company used VR technology to present its equipment, drawing many customers and visitors to its booth. The VR display generated great interest, and he considered the exhibition effect to be very good.
