Kadant Signs Anhui Xinguang for Full OCC Recycled Fiber Pulping System at 600,000-Ton Packaging Paper Project

Kadant has signed a contract with Anhui Xinguang New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. to supply a complete recycled fiber OCC pulping system for its 600,000-ton-per-year anti-static carbon fiber functional composite paper project.

The packaging paper project contract was signed in July 2021, covering the full recycled fiber OCC pulping system. The agreement also establishes a strategic partnership aimed at advancing high-end paper products packaging in East China, meeting rising market demand and contributing to the pulp and paper industry. The pulp line is designed for up to 1,600 tonnes per day.

Anhui Xinguang New Material Co., Ltd., formerly Anhui Xinguang Paper Co., Ltd., was founded in July 2010 and is located in Xuezhuang, Shengquan Town, Xiao County, Suzhou City, Anhui Province. It mainly produces and sells high-strength corrugated paper. Its existing corrugated paper line, with an annual capacity of 200,000 tonnes of high-strength corrugated paper, passed completion acceptance in 2013. Once the 600,000-ton-per-year packaging paper project is completed, it will certainly have a major impact on base paper capacity in the East China market.
