Industry Background

Shenzhen stands out in China's polymer sector: it has the largest industrial scale, the highest concentration of companies and the most complete supply chain support. Based on incomplete figures, the city's polymer industry had reached an output value of roughly RMB 210 billion by the end of 2014 — about 10% of the national total. Tens of thousands of companies operate locally, among them 50 with output above RMB 1 billion and more than 1,000 above RMB 100 million, plus over 100 listed, pre-IPO and national high-tech enterprises.

Why Shenzhen

Shenzhen is described as 'the first special economic zone established by China's reform and opening up', 'one of China's four first-tier cities' and 'a national hub of the electronic information industry'. Its total foreign trade exports have ranked first among China's large and medium-sized cities for 24 consecutive years, and 197 Fortune Global 500 companies have invested there. The city also carries titles including 'national comprehensive supporting reform pilot zone', 'national economic center city', 'national innovative city', 'demonstration city of socialism with Chinese characteristics', 'international city', 'City of Design', 'City of Piano' and 'City of Makers'.

Show Features & Services

1. Every exhibitor receives VIP invitation letters for inviting distributors (agents, buyers) to visit and source on site; hotel services for visiting VIP buyers are arranged by the organizing committee.
2. Once registered, exhibitors can access promotion such as featured-company recommendations and product introductions through partner media, the official website and the WeChat platform.
3. Seminars held during the show are free to enter with an exhibitor badge, with related gifts on offer.
4. The organizing committee will periodically publish buyer lists and the products they purchase, drawing on its own resources and advantages.
5. On request, exhibitors may ask the organizing committee for the event's buyer list and contact details after the show; the committee supplies these free of charge so that exhibitors can follow up and negotiate with buyers more effectively.
6. Gifts are given away throughout the show; exhibitor and visitor badges allow entry to on-site lucky draws, and exhibiting companies are welcome to sponsor gifts.
7. Trade visitors who pre-register enjoy hotel accommodation and gifts, while visiting groups also receive coach transfer and lunch services.
