China Packaging Federation to Convene 18th National Packaging Adhesive Technology Promotion Conference and High-Tech Achievement Exchange & Trade Fair in Zhengzhou, Sept 18-19, 2019

To strengthen product quality across China's paper packaging and printing sector, lower production costs, address a range of quality issues linked to adhesives, speed up the transfer and commercialization of high-tech results, and support high-tech enterprises in growing faster, the China Packaging Federation has made the following arrangements:

The 18th National Packaging Adhesive Technology Promotion Conference and High-Tech Achievement Exchange and Trade Fair will take place in Zhengzhou on September 18-19, 2019, running alongside the 2019 China (Zhengzhou) International Corrugated and Folding Carton and Packaging Printing Industry Expo. It is organized by the Adhesive Committee of the Henan Packaging Technology Association and Henan Zhongbao Technology Co., Ltd. The key details are as follows:

On September 18, first floor

Registration will be open all day at the B2 Hall entrance; the meeting starts at 9:30 on September 19.

Live demonstrations and explanations will cover cold-process, high-strength, fast-drying starch adhesive production using ordinary starch and cold water for a range of paper products, including automatic laminating machines, manual lamination of single-wall paperboard, honeycomb paperboard, paper tubes, paper cores, and high-strength and ordinary corrugated cartons. Attendees can try the process themselves and receive answers to technical problems encountered in production.
3. The event will explain, on site, how to produce a solid adhesive powder series from ordinary starch and oxidized starch.
4. On-site training will detail starch adhesive (raw adhesive) manufacturing for single facers and corrugated board lines, with a focus on improving corrugated board bonding strength, hardness, drying speed, water resistance and related performance indicators.
5. The program will also explain fast-bonding, water-resistant adhesives designed for low-temperature production on new corrugated board lines.
6. High-tech achievement projects will be presented for cooperation and exchange, with a dedicated trading exhibition area.
7. Who Should Attend

Adhesive-making technicians from carton, box and other packaging product manufacturers, along with technical staff from adhesive manufacturers, are invited.

2. No conference fee, training fee or technology transfer intermediary fee is charged.
3. Each participating enterprise will receive relevant technical materials.
4. Standard booths are discounted; exhibitors bringing their own display racks are not charged and may promote their products in the conference area.
