The 16th edition of the APFE Shanghai International Adhesive Tape, Protective Film and Functional Film Exhibition, a global annual gathering for the tape and film sector, is scheduled for September 28–30, 2020 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai·Hongqiao). The planned total area is 53,500 sqm across Halls 7.1 and 8.1, with more than 900 Chinese and international companies expected to present next-generation materials and technical solutions to 39,500 attendees from China and overseas.

First launched globally by Fuya Exhibition in 2007, APFE has maintained its standing as a respected global brand exhibition for adhesive tape and film. Its previous edition exceeded 43,500 sqm, drew 736 exhibitors and 27,159 visitors, and further reinforced its role as a leading global commercial event for the tape and film industry.

Rooted in Shanghai while serving a global audience, APFE continues to guide the tape and film sector toward its next phase.

The last edition took place on June 12–14, 2019 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Hongqiao), Shanghai, covering 43,500 sqm (equivalent to 1,955 booths) and featuring 736 exhibitors from China and abroad.

【Exhibition Scope】

◆ Adhesive tape: adhesive tape products using film, paper, cloth, foil, foam and other substrates, including unsupported double-sided tape, adhesive protective film, self-adhesive labels (pressure-sensitive labels), other adhesive products and release materials.

◆ Protective film: process protective films such as PE, PET, OPP, PVC, BOPP and TPU, plus functional protective films with anti-scratch, anti-shatter, anti-glare or anti-peep properties; also self-adhesive protective film, antistatic protective film and auxiliary materials such as release film/paper.

◆ Functional film: optical films (brightness enhancement film, diffusion film, reflective film, polarizing film, brightness enhancement composite film, light guide film and other optical-grade films for backlight/display); optoelectronic/screen films (optical protective film, hard coat/anti-scratch/anti-peep/anti-shatter/anti-glare film, ITO film, OCA optical adhesive, etc.); car wrap/automotive window/window/heat insulation/dimming/reflective films, etc.; flexible packaging films (aluminized film, barrier film, high-gloss film, printed film, etc.); energy films (photovoltaic film/battery separator/water treatment membrane); IMD decorative film, graphite thermal conductive film, insulating film, antistatic film, laser film, nano film, PC/PMMA film and other functional films and sheets.
