The five-day 2020 Qingdao International Packaging Industry Exhibition came to a successful close. More than 300 exhibitors from the intelligent manufacturing industry joined the event, presenting over 1,000 products, with more than a hundred world-leading technologies released at the same time. Well-known companies including Shanghai Taiyi, Dongping Junchuan, SIASUN Robot, Multivac, Baojia Group, Ishida Co., Ltd., Intes Intelligent, Shandong Zhonghe, Kangdexin, Dongchuan Packaging, Shanghai Weixian, Robatech, Chengdu Kejie, Shandong Jiaxin, Qingdao Huichuan, Xiongyuan Technology, Guangzhou Biaoji, Electronic Testing Factory, Sinnor Packaging, Langfang Meibang, Gaster Scales, Shanghai Zhongde, Leidejie, Guangzhou Lihua, Shanghai Dingli, Ziming Group, Shanghai Hongji, Wenzhou Qianding, Hanguang Youmei, Qingdao Minggao, Dingxing, Guangdong Hongming, Zhejiang Yuhai, Haiyuntian Machinery, Qishunyun, Zhejiang Saili, Dongguan Weineng, Tianjin Handun, Hangzhou Yongchuang, Dalian Tianyuan and Huitong Intelligent appeared together at the Qingdao show and reported strong gains on site.

According to statistics, the five-day exhibition attracted 100,000 visits from packaging industry professionals nationwide. With cooperation from associations and media, more than 1,200 representatives from food, beverage, pharmaceutical, personal care, printing and packaging factories came as delegations, and on-site purchasing intentions reached RMB 20 million.

Some professional visitors said they found suitable equipment to purchase during the five days, while the precise matchmaking meetings offered cost-effective product solutions; they were satisfied with the overall results of the exhibition.

Concurrent Forums, Expert Insights

In addition, the exhibition combined online and offline formats to enhance the three-dimensional visitor experience. It launched a cloud exhibition livestream for overseas and out-of-town audiences who could not attend, allowing them to visit without leaving home. On site, there were an activity zone, a visitor rest area and a wine tasting area, along with a series of lucky draws. Several forum conferences were arranged this year to guide industry outlook analysis and provide professional frontier information for corporate brand upgrading. Among them, the 2020 Bohai Rim Printing and Packaging Industry Chain Innovation Forum invited member units and guests from more than ten associations, including the Packaging and Printing Branch of the China Printing and Equipment Industry Association, Shandong Packaging and Printing Industry Association, Weihai Packaging and Printing Industry Association, Beijing Printing Association, Tianjin Printing and Packaging Association, Qingdao Packaging Federation and Qingdao Printing Industry Association. The venue was filled with distinguished guests and a lively atmosphere.
