Mismatches between packaging parts are easy to miss when the order is placed and costly once the line starts running: cap-to-pouch-neck thread engagement, the clearance between a measuring spoon and the seal, and moulding shrinkage allowances all shape filling efficiency and the end user’s experience. For these fit-critical points, Kody can supply plastic caps, measuring spoons and other injection-moulded components in parallel with the pouch itself; colour and dimensions are developed around each customer’s packaging concept, with material options for food-contact or industrial applications. Sampling the fittings and pouch together validates assembly tolerance before mass production, cutting down on repeated machine trials that occur when caps, spoons and bags are sourced separately. The components can also be printed in specified colours, inkjet-coded or built with anti-counterfeit features, making them suitable for milk powder, powder, granular and liquid pouch products.
