For red wine, spirits and other liquids poured over multiple sittings, this bag-in-box (BIB) pairs a flexible inner pouch with an outer carton: the pouch holds the liquid, while the carton keeps the shape and provides the printed surface. Compared with glass, the pouch format offers a different trade-off in shipping weight, breakage risk and portioned draw-off for e-commerce and food service.

It can be used for juice packaging, beverage packaging, red-wine packaging, drinking-water packaging, coffee packaging and liquid packaging. Buyers often call the same format a double-gusset pouch, valve pouch or spout pouch.

The pouch body is a four-layer PET+AL+PA+PE lamination. The aluminium foil layer blocks light and oxygen; the nylon layer helps the bag withstand folding and pressure; and the inner PE layer is welded together with the butterfly valve seat and spout. A stand-up base plus double-gusset construction keeps the pouch positioned inside the carton, with the outlet facing outward for easy dispensing.
