The top can be fitted with a screw cap or push-pull spout, with the outlet diameter and valve style matched to the liquid being packed for direct drinking and repeated sealing. Carry holes can be positioned on the side or base, making larger formats such as 3L easier to lift and transport. Seals are flat and secure, corners can be rounded or cut, and the formed pouch holds a crisp shape for shelf presentation.

Typical laminate options include PET/AL/PE, PET/VMPET/PE and NY/PE. The exact structure is chosen based on the contents and sterilisation method, balancing barrier performance, puncture resistance and flexibility. Printing uses 1-8 colour gravure technology, capable of gradients, spot colours and fine text, with matt, gloss and spot varnish finishes. Regular volumes span 100ml to 5L, while pouch dimensions, spout placement and outlet size can be adjusted. Matching roll film in the same material is also available for automatic filling lines.
