Light-Blocking High-Barrier Roll Film for Coffee & Tea | Custom Aluminium Foil & Metallised Laminates

Staling in coffee and tea is driven mainly by light, oxygen and moisture, so this roll film places an aluminium foil or metallised (VMPET) barrier at the centre of the laminate. Around it, PET contributes stiffness and a print-friendly outer surface; PA adds puncture resistance and flex strength; PE forms the heat-seal layer that closes reliably on automatic filling lines. The result is a light-blocking, oxygen- and moisture-resistant web for products that need a longer shelf life.

Supplied as a finished roll rather than pre-made bags, the film is typically 6–12 silk thick, slit to the web width of your packaging machine and pouch format, with roll diameter and core matched to the same equipment. Rotogravure printing covers 1–8 colours, allowing brand, origin and brewing information to be printed across the full surface or around a clear window.

Applications include coffee beans, tea, nuts, milk powder and powdered drinks, where light protection and moisture control are essential; the roll runs on automatic packaging machines. Barrier grade, laminate structure, thickness and slit width can be matched to the required shelf life, and a degassing valve or zipper can be added for valve pouches and stand-up pouches.
