For filling lines that form stand-up pouches inline, this laminated web is supplied on reels and run through the machine for pouch making, dosing and sealing in one continuous process. It is built for high-volume output of juice, beverages, seasoning liquids and household liquid products.
The laminate can combine PET, PA and PE layers. PA adds toughness and puncture resistance, while the PE inner layer is chosen as a liquid-resistant heat-seal surface, so sealed edges are less prone to leakage during filling and shipping. Common thickness is 8–14 silk. Web width is slit according to the customer’s machine and pouch design, and printing is available in 1–8 colours.
End applications include automatic filling packaging for fruit juice, drinks, soy sauce and seasoning liquids, hand soap and laundry detergent. When the pouch includes a spout or cap, the film can be matched to the fitment’s sealing parameters to keep spout sealing consistent across long production runs.
