Light-Blocking Heavy-Gauge Aluminum Foil & Metallized Stand-Up Spout Pouches for Coatings, Paints and Industrial Liquids

Designed around industrial liquid filling and distribution, this stand-up spout pouch uses a widened bottom gusset to stay upright through filling and placement. It can be made with three-side or four-side seals, giving flat, high-strength seal lines that resist splitting during handling and drops. At the top, choose a screw spout, flip-top spout or valved cap, with a leak-proof gasket for controlled pouring, dispensing and repackaging. The outer layer is light-blocking to limit light exposure, making the format suitable for light-sensitive formulations.

For barrier performance, the structure uses aluminum foil or metallized film, laminated with PET, NY and PE films to combine light, oxygen and moisture resistance; heavier gauges further improve drop and puncture resistance. Graphics are applied by 1-8 colour gravure printing, reproducing artwork and colour references from supplied drawings or samples, with matt, gloss and localized finishes available. Standard capacities range from 100ml to 5L, while bag dimensions, spout diameter and film thickness can be matched to filling equipment and contents; roll film in the same material structure can also be supplied.

Applications include coatings, paint, ink, waterproofing adhesives, cleaning agents, lubricants and household liquid products. Industrial buyers often use these pouches to replace metal cans and rigid pails, reducing packaging material and freight costs. A typical custom order moves through requirement discussion, sample confirmation or customer sample review, proof approval, then bulk production.
