The pouch is engineered around a centre-seal construction: both side edges are sealed, and a vertical seal runs down the centre of the back. This produces a flat bag profile, and the same format can also be supplied as a three-side-seal pouch for granules, powders, oral glucose and similar contents. Flat, narrow packs are well suited to slim, stick-style portioning.
Laminates are available in pure aluminium foil or metallized film. Pure foil delivers a high barrier for moisture and light protection of powder contents, while metallized film creates a metal-deposited barrier. A typical build combines a printed outer web, a barrier core and an inner heat-seal layer. In a centre-seal pouch, the longitudinal seal is the main load-bearing area, so the laminate's heat-seal strength must be selected to match that seal.
Printing is available in 1–8 colours, and the narrow panel works well for brand names and specification details. Bag width, length and seal width are all made to order. The MOQ is 10,000 pcs, which aligns with production schedules for fast-moving products such as glucose powder and powdered drinks.
