These three-side-seal laminated pouches are designed for cold-compress patches, sheet masks and eye masks. The surface can be specified in either a frosted finish or a pure aluminium finish: the frosted side has a matt feel and resists fingerprints, while the pure aluminium side delivers a strong metallic sheen.
The construction uses aluminium foil or metallized laminate film. The foil layer provides a strong barrier against light, oxygen and moisture vapour, making it well suited to cold-compress patches containing hydrogel or medicated liquid; the metallized option uses metallized film for barrier performance while keeping cost in view. In the laminate, the outer printed film carries the artwork, the middle barrier layer provides protection, and the inner heat-seal film forms the seal.
Printing is available in 1–8 colours. Since frosted film and pure foil film render colour differently, proofing is recommended for comparison. Pouch specifications are made to order, with dimensions, corner radii and tear-notch position all adjustable. The MOQ is 10,000 pcs, which covers typical batch sizes for cold-compress products.
Applications cover sheet mask and eye mask packaging, along with household chemical, cosmetic and skincare packaging. Terms such as cold-compress patch and skincare essence pouch refer to the same flexible packaging family; when contents are gel, liquid or soaked non-woven fabric, the pouch style and seals can be fine-tuned to suit flow.
Kody Packaging has production operations in Dongguan, Guangdong, where lamination and pouch-making are linked in-house. Sampling based on a customer's existing pouch is available.
