This three-side-seal foil pouch is designed for enzyme drinks, granular products and powdered foods, and it features a tear notch at the opening. These fills flow easily and absorb moisture readily, so barrier performance and seal integrity directly affect product condition throughout shelf life.

The laminate can be supplied as aluminium foil or metallized film. The foil layer blocks moisture and oxygen, which is especially important for highly hygroscopic powders; the metallized layer creates a metal-deposited barrier and fits food lines that are more cost-sensitive. Each pouch combines a printed outer film, a middle barrier layer and an inner heat-seal film, and the inner layer must comply with food-contact requirements.
