Built as a centre-seal pouch with a back seam, this pure aluminium gusseted bag handles fill weights from 1 g to 500 g. Pure aluminium foil forms the structural core, while side gussets unfold into a three-dimensional cavity, helping tea leaves or powder stay upright after filling. Because the seal is positioned on the rear centre, the entire front panel remains available for print.
Side gussets increase usable space once the bag is filled, and the base opens naturally when the pack is stood. The high barrier of pure aluminium foil helps shield contents from light, moisture and odour transfer, making it suitable for tea and similar sensitive products. A reliable back seam is the basis of pouch sealing, so temperature and pressure must be controlled during bag making to prevent weak seals.
Fill capacity spans 1–500 g. Printing supports 1–8 colours and can be full-colour across the panel, with room for product name, origin details and brewing instructions. Pouch size and gusset width are customised per order; MOQ is 10,000 pcs.
Applications include tea packaging, food packaging and powdered food packaging. It works with black tea, green tea, scented tea, pu'er, coffee powder, grain powders and similar contents. Centre-seal three-dimensional pouches also present a tidy, shelf-ready appearance.
Kody Packaging manufactures in Dongguan, Guangdong, providing custom foil and metallized laminated pouches. Lamination, slitting and bag making are run as a connected process, and printing and edge seals are verified before shipment. Trial samples can be produced against a customer's reference sample.
