This spout pouch is built for medical ultrasound coupling gel and made to order by the factory. A 35 g fill is the standard production reference, while the pouch body can be specified anywhere from 1 g to 52 g. Aluminium foil and metallized laminates form the structure, and a spout is fitted at the top. During repeated scans, the spout gives better dose control than a tear-open sachet, letting gel be applied straight to the probe or coupling site.
The pouch is formed by heat-sealing the laminate into a cavity, after which the spout base is welded into the top. Foil delivers a high barrier, making it suitable for light-sensitive gel formulations; a metallized build keeps the pack opaque while reducing bulk and weight. Because the inner layer is in direct contact with the gel, the seal area must combine reliable closure with smooth dispensing through the spout.
Fill volume can be chosen within the 1–52 g band according to product weight. Printing is available in 1–8 colours, and artwork, colour codes and registration are produced from the customer's files. Pouch dimensions and spout type are confirmed together with the filling line and the gel's viscosity. The MOQ is 10,000 pcs, with bag making and delivery scheduled by order.
Primary uses include medical coupling gel, ultrasound-specific gel and blood-glucose test packaging. Ultrasound departments, maternal/child health and health-check facilities, and medical device distributors are typical buyers. The same spout pouch construction can also be applied to portion-packed semi-fluid products beyond gel.
