Custom 1–50 g Foil Spout Pouches for Ultrasound Coupling Gel

This foil spout pouch is built for portioning medical ultrasound coupling gel and B-ultrasound gel, with a fill range of 1–50 g. The body combines aluminium foil with metallized laminate, and the top-mounted spout supports controlled dispensing. Because the volume band is broad, one pouch format can serve both small and larger fills, so a single printed layout may cover multiple SKUs.

Production starts by heat-sealing the laminate into a pouch cavity, after which the spout is welded onto the body. The aluminium foil layer provides the main barrier against light, oxygen and moisture vapour, helping protect the gel; the metallized layer adds light-blocking performance while keeping pack weight lower. The inner layer must balance heat-seal strength with compatibility to the contents, and the sealed edges need to tolerate repeated squeezing during dispensing.

Fills are selected anywhere from 1 g to 50 g. Printing can be produced in 1–8 colours, and artwork supplied by the customer can move through in-house plate making and printing. Pouch length and width, spout model, hanging-hole options and other structural details are made to order. The minimum order quantity is 10,000 pcs.

Typical applications include medical coupling gel, ultrasound-specific gel and blood-glucose test packaging. Buyers are often ultrasound departments, health-check organisations and consumable distributors. For paste or semi-fluid products beyond gel, the same spout pouch construction can also be adopted.
