A colostrum feeding pouch has to do two jobs at once: keep the colostrum sealed and hygienic, and deliver it in a controlled stream so the calf does not choke and nothing spills. Built for those requirements, this high-barrier aseptic spout pouch comes with a spout and a drain tube. Milk moves directly from the pouch to the feeder, and one hand is enough for the operator to manage the flow.

The pouch body is a multi-layer laminate: a printed outer film, a middle barrier of aluminium foil or metallized film, and an inner heat-seal layer. The middle barrier limits light and oxygen exposure to help protect heat-sensitive colostrum components. The inner layer is in contact with the dairy product, so it must keep a reliable seal through chilled storage and later warming. Weld strength between the spout base and the pouch also determines whether the spout stays secure during feeding.

Available volumes are 1–10 L, and printing can run from 1–8 colors. This lets farms add batch codes, dates and herd numbers to the pouch face.
