On a dairy farm, daily milk bagging and chilled calf colostrum storage can use the same family of flexible packs. A 4 L pouch body with a spout stands upright once filled, so staff can pull individual pouches from the chiller rather than reopening one bulk container. The pouch format is customized around the farm's existing milking and milk-storage workflow, and the outlet and spout bore can be matched to the equipment.

The pouch body is made from aluminium foil or a metallized laminate. Its metal layer blocks light and oxygen, while the inner heat-seal layer is the surface in contact with milk or colostrum. Because 4 L is a larger single-pouch fill, the filled weight is higher; the base and side seals need to tolerate compression during transport and stacking, and every production lot of spout-seat welding goes through a tightness check.

The series spans 1-10 L, with printing in 1-8 colours, allowing the pouch face to show farm name, batch and date. A drain tube and an external frame are among the add-ons; the frame improves stability when a large pouch is used for feeding or pouring. MOQ is 10,000 pcs, and dimensions and accessories are made to order.

Chilled calf colostrum and milk storage are the primary applications. The same pouch type also suits dairy product preservation and liquid feed dispensing. In the market, colostrum pouch, milk pouch, farm pouch and feeding pouch are different names for this same category of flexible dairy packaging.
