These colostrum pouches are made for dairy farms that need to collect, quick-freeze and hold colostrum in cold-chain conditions. The aseptic multilayer laminate keeps the contents sealed from filling through thawing, while the low-temperature film stays flexible so frozen pouches can be stacked without cracking.
The food-grade laminate combines PET, AL, PA and PE. AL acts as the light and oxygen barrier, PA maintains toughness at low temperatures, and PE serves as the inner heat-seal layer that comes into direct contact with the contents. The pouch format and capacity are customized to farm filling routines; 1–8 colour printing can include batch and date fields on the panel. Its flat, stackable shape helps farms use freezer space efficiently. Typical applications include frozen colostrum storage, reconstituted milk-replacer liquid filling and livestock nutrition liquid holding.
