A bag-in-box pack combines the liner with an outer carton. The liquid is held in the inner bag, while the carton supplies support and protection. During shipping and pallet stacking, the box absorbs most mechanical stress; the liner mainly resists the static head of the liquid, so deformation remains manageable even at larger fill volumes. Once filled, the bag follows the carton's shape, and after the carton is removed it can still stand upright on its own.
Liquid is drawn through a butterfly valve: press to dispense and release to stop. This allows portioned access without tipping the bag and helps limit air being drawn back into the remaining contents, supporting quality retention. The liner is made from metallised laminated film. Its metallised layer blocks light and provides a certain barrier, making it suitable for light-sensitive liquids or products intended for longer storage. The valve-to-bag joint is a critical sealing area.
Fill volume, valve diameter and liner film can be selected to match the filling line and outer carton format. The outer carton can also be produced as a colour-printed box. We recommend confirming valve orientation and connector type with the filling equipment first, then conducting fill and drop tests to verify that the seal and valve do not leak under transport conditions. MOQ and lead time are confirmed according to the final specification.
