Yuto Technology and MULTIVAC Form Strategic Partnership to Drive Sustainable Fresh Food Packaging and Plastic Reduction

On July 22, 2021, Yuto Technology and MULTIVAC signed a strategic cooperation agreement. Yuto Technology is a leading provider in China of integrated high-end brand packaging solutions, while MULTIVAC is a globally recognized supplier of packaging machinery and complete lines. By the end of 2020, the nationwide catering industry was banned from using non-degradable single-use plastic straws; by the end of 2020, in built-up areas of cities at prefecture level and above, dine-in catering services were banned from using non-degradable single-use plastic tableware; by the end of 2025, in built-up areas of county towns, dine-in catering services are banned from using non-degradable single-use plastic tableware; by the end of 2025, in cities at prefecture level and above, the consumption intensity of non-degradable single-use plastic tableware in the food delivery sector is to decline by 30%. This cooperation sets a model for efficiently implementing the 'plastic ban' and represents a firm step toward promoting the sustainable development of fresh food packaging.

In addition, Mr. Wang Huajun, Chairman of Yuto Technology, discussed environmental pollution and plastic-ban environmental protection with Mr. Li Yansi, General Manager of MULTIVAC China, Hong Kong SAR and Mongolia.
