2020 PKWE World of Packaging - Yiwu Packaging Containers, Packaging Products and Materials Exhibition is confirmed for March 30 to April 1, 2020 at Yiwu International Expo Center. Anchored in Yiwu and reaching 120 countries and regions worldwide, the event highlights innovative packaging products and green, eco-friendly new materials.

Supporting bodies include Zhejiang Provincial Packaging Technology Association, Packaging World Magazine, Hong Kong Huabo Group, China Food and Packaging Machinery Industry Association, Wenzhou Packaging Federation, Ruian Machinery and Electronics Industry Association, Pingxiang Packaging Chamber of Commerce, Wenzhou Printing Industry Association, Ningbo Plastics Machinery Industry Association and Zhejiang Provincial Food Industry Association. The executive organizers are Yiwu Chuangjie Exhibition Service Co., Ltd., Shanghai Huabo Exhibition Service Co., Ltd. and Yiwu Fengxiangbiao Convention & Exhibition Service Co., Ltd. Strategic cooperation and sponsorship slots are now open, with details available by phone or letter.

Backed by the world's largest small-commodity wholesale market, Yiwu has grown into an international hub for small-commodity circulation, information, display and export. Packaging demand continues to rise, making the city one of China's major packaging bases. The expo leverages Yiwu's market and industrial strengths to showcase paper, plastic, metal, non-woven fabric, wood, composite material and glass packaging, plus total packaging solutions.

Running concurrently are the Food Processing Exhibition, Packaging Industry Exhibition, Printing and Label Technology Exhibition and Small Commodity Manufacturing Exhibition. The four linked shows create a one-stop sourcing platform across the full packaging supply chain, helping exhibitors track trends, meet peers face to face, expand networks and explore partnerships.

Organizers point to several core strengths: a focused showcase of paper, plastic, metal, non-woven fabric, wood, composite material and glass packaging containers, materials and service design; 50,000+ high-quality packaging R&D, marketing, senior executive and procurement decision-makers from end-user industries; an exclusive invited target buyer program with brand end-user procurement matching; support from 120+ industry associations and well-known media; and 10+ packaging summits, forums and conferences.

Building on its reputation, the previous edition reached a new high: about 30,000 square meters of exhibition space, more than 600 exhibiting companies and a complete view of the packaging and upstream end-user supply chain. Over three days it attracted more than 50,000 visitors from more than 30 countries and regions. New paper, plastic, metal and other material packaging products and raw materials were launched on site, giving buyers a one-stop sourcing option.

Past exhibitors include Anhui Hongyang Group, Huaya Printing, Dadongnan Packaging, Zhejiang Donglai Packaging, Nanfang Packaging, Wenzhou Langchi Industrial, Huatai Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Zhongsheng New Materials, Fukang Group, Yiwu Beisha Packaging, Hangzhou Sanpin Plastics, Hexing Packaging, Jiangxi Anyuan Packaging, Zhejiang Qianlin Packaging, Zhejiang Dahua Packaging, Guangdong Hongming Intelligent, Adier Packaging Group, Wenzhou Zhonghe Packaging, Guangdong Huaye Packaging, Shenzhen Sangye Industrial, Lianhe Packaging, Changhai Packaging and other well-known brand manufacturers.

The show aims to serve modern high-end packaging needs for luxury goods, jewelry, watches, tobacco and alcohol, tea, cosmetics, food, beverages, electronic products, gifts and more. It offers packaging service manufacturers, designers, domestic and overseas brand end-user buyers, trading companies and industry professionals a high-end platform for image display, information exchange and business development.

Exhibitor feedback points to clear returns. Manager Xie of Anhui Hongyang Packaging Group Co., Ltd. said Hongyang is a relatively mature domestic packaging products manufacturer, especially in tinplate cans, and this was its second Yiwu Packaging Exhibition. The show brings new features and progress each year; in just a few days the company gained orders and made friends, and it has already booked a booth for the next edition.

Mr. Su of Yiwu Beisha Packaging Co., Ltd. said it was the company's first Yiwu Packaging Exhibition and the results were very good. There were many professional visitors and many potential customers; the exchanges also helped the team better understand the latest industry trends, and quite a few orders were signed on site.

Mr. Lin of Wenzhou Mincheng Plastics Co., Ltd. said the company booked a 36-square-meter booth. On the ** day of the show, visitor traffic was astonishing; three negotiation tables were not enough for customers, and the arranged sales staff were also insufficient. The edition brought good new customer and order results, and the company plans a larger booth next year, saying it will meet again in 2020.
