Ningbo Rubber & Plastics Expo 2020: 400+ Exhibitors, 850 Booths, Set for August 20–22

Ningbo is widely known as China's capital of engineering plastics, capital of plastics machinery and capital of molds, as the hometown of cables, and as a base for automotive rubber components — a pilot demonstration city under the Made in China 2025 initiative. With a port that reaches markets worldwide, the city has grown into one of the country's largest plastics and plastics machinery industry bases and trade distribution hubs.

The 12th Ningbo International Rubber and Plastics Industry Exhibition, held together with the Ningbo Polymer New Materials and New Equipment Expo, is set to open on August 20–22, 2020 at the Ningbo International Convention and Exhibition Center. The event is supported by the Engineering Plastics Committee and the Thermoplastic Elastomer Committee of the China Plastics Processing Industry Association, and jointly organized by the Zhejiang Plastics Industry Association, Zhejiang Rubber Industry Association, Ningbo Plastics Industry Association, Ningbo Plastics Machinery Industry Association, Ningbo Rubber Chamber of Commerce, Wenzhou Rubber Chamber of Commerce and Ningbo Thermoplastic Elastomer Chamber of Commerce, with Jihua Exhibition Service (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. serving as the contractor.

More than ten years of accumulated experience have continuously upgraded the show's exhibitor base, product diversity, scale and service standards. According to organizers' figures, this edition will welcome over 400 exhibitors occupying 850 booths.

To make sourcing easier for visiting buyers, five professional display zones have been designated — plastic products and raw material additives; plastics (mold) machinery and auxiliary supporting equipment; the rubber industry; the plastic packaging industry; and recycled plastics and technology and equipment — along with a separate brand image display area presenting the latest products.

Advanced eco-friendly degradable materials and intelligent molding equipment are joining in large numbers, adding highlight after highlight, and a number of high-end forums will also take place during the show.
