Jinsha, Guizhou Baijiu Packaging Sector Accelerates: 24 Plants in Production as Yushan Jiuding Runs at Full Capacity for Double 11

With Double 11 drawing near, Jinsha County's baijiu market is heading into its peak sales window. Liquor brands across the county are pushing both online and offline channels, building inventory ahead of the shopping festival. Their packaging material suppliers are keeping pace, running at full capacity to meet the seasonal demand.

Inside Guizhou Yushan Jiuding Technology Co., Ltd. at the Jinsha County Economic Development Zone, workers move through decal application, injection molding and UV coloring in a steady sequence. Roughly ten minutes later, finished baijiu paper boxes, cartons, handbags and bottles leave the end of the line, are sorted into turnover crates and dispatched to liquor enterprises within and beyond Guizhou.

Qin Tiankui, office director of Guizhou Yushan Jiuding Technology Co., Ltd., said: "As baijiu enters its peak consumption season, our company, which specializes in liquor packaging, has raised output to keep up with the liquor brands. We operate more than 20 production lines, all equipment is running normally, and daily output reaches 20,000 finished pieces. We have secured orders from Huaizhuang, Huisha and Gujiu and can ship within a short period."

One of the first packaging material businesses to enter the Jinsha Economic Development Zone, Yushan Jiuding is a fully automated baijiu packaging materials producer. Since setting up operations, it has created more than 530 local jobs (person-times) and achieved monthly sales of over RMB 15 million. Its product quality has been recognized by more than 200 liquor companies in and outside Guizhou, including Jinsha Huisha Liquor, Dukang Liquor and Guojiao.

In recent years, Jinsha County has positioned baijiu as one of the three leading industries in its new industrialization drive, set a target of reaching the "10 billion" mark, planned a dedicated baijiu park, and promoted cluster-based growth. This has also pulled upstream and downstream supporting industries forward, with baijiu-related packaging and packaging material companies settling in the Jinsha Economic Development Zone one after another.

To date, Jinsha County has brought in 12 baijiu packaging material companies, including Dongguan Sanchuang, Sichuan Shengfeng, Shanghai Tuzhi, Anhui Jinxing and Xinjiang Xinhong Mingrui. The park now hosts 24 packaging material enterprises that have moved in and started production, while another 15 have shown interest. Figures show that as of September this year, Jinsha's baijiu industry recorded taxable sales of RMB 4.311 billion, and the baijiu packaging material sector's output value surpassed RMB 250 million. The industry cluster has made remarkable progress.
