From a 2011 Startup to an 8,000+ sqm Site: How Kody Packaging Scaled Up
Kody Packaging's story opens in 2011, when Dongguan Kody Packaging Material Factory was set up. A name change came in 2016, a relocation and a new corporate entity followed in 2019, and by 2023 the company's production site had grown beyond 8,000 square meters.
2011 and 2016: Founding the Factory and Adopting a New Name
It all started in 2011 with the establishment of Dongguan Kody Packaging Material Factory, the origin of Guangdong Kody Packaging. In 2016 the business took on a new identity as Dongguan Kody Packaging Products Co., Ltd.
2019: A New Location and the Launch of Guangdong Kody Packaging Products Co., Ltd.
In 2019 Dongguan Kody Packaging Products Co., Ltd. moved its operations to a new site, and Guangdong Kody Packaging Products Co., Ltd. was founded at the same time.
2020 to 2023: Equipment Added Year After Year
Across 2020 to 2023, Guangdong Kody Packaging kept investing in machinery, adding capability in bag making, slitting, curing and laminating.

- September 2021: two additional slitting machines
- 2022: one additional curing machine
- March 2023: one additional automatic bag-in-box bag making machine
- 2023: one additional laminating machine
Plant Footprint: Growing Past 6,000 sqm, Then Past 8,000 sqm
A further expansion in 2021 pushed Guangdong Kody Packaging's factory area beyond 6,000 square meters. In 2023 the site was enlarged once more, this time exceeding 8,000 square meters.
Output and Recognition: Up to 220L BIB Bags and a Dongguan “Most Professional Packaging Company” Title
The automatic bag-in-box machine installed in March 2023 is capable of turning out BIB bags with a capacity of up to 220L. Back in 2020, Guangdong Kody Packaging claimed the champion spot in Dongguan's online selection for “Most Professional Packaging Company.”
