EMBALLAGE 2020: Paris to Host Global Packaging Exhibition on November 23–26

EMBALLAGE 2020, the 2020 France International Packaging Industry Exhibition, will take place from November 23–26, 2020, at Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre. COMEXPOSIUM is the organizer, while Shanghai Oucheng Exhibition Service Co., Ltd. serves as the China group organizer. The show covers food packaging and auxiliary machinery, containers and parts, packaging materials, material processing equipment, food and beverage processing equipment, mixing and blending machinery, filtration and laboratory equipment, packaging raw materials such as paper, plastic pellets and metal, non-printing films, plastic sheets, adhesives, inks, varnishes, pigments, paper, paperboard, plastics, printing films, metal, glass, other packaging products, packaging parts and accessories, packaging processing machinery, packaging manufacturing machinery, printing machinery, labeling, marking, coding and identification machinery, primary packaging machinery, fluid handling equipment and solutions, packaging lines and integration systems, second-hand packaging machinery, protective, dispatch and storage machinery, industrial packaging, storage and handling equipment, waste treatment equipment, testing and inspection equipment, mechanical parts, packaging innovation, contract packaging, co-packing, service providers, engineering, consulting and services, and related media.

EMBALLAGE is held every two years and is recognized as the world's most influential and largest international packaging exhibition. The edition drew exhibitors from many countries and regions, with national pavilions such as Taiwan, Belgium, Brazil, Spain, Portugal and Turkey all recording growth. Exhibitors included manufacturers of packaging and packaging machinery, including machinery for beverages and liquids; producers of packaging products and containers; and specialized companies in handling, printing and other ancillary industries. A total of 101,000 visitors attended, with visiting companies coming from food, beverage, cosmetics, materials, healthcare and medical industries, as well as packaging machinery manufacturing. According to the survey from that edition, visitor satisfaction was high and exhibitors were satisfied with visitor quality, showing that EMBALLAGE & IPA is the world's most international exhibition.

In recent years, Europe's packaging industry has grown rapidly and has become one of the continent's major industrial sectors. The global packaging market is substantial, with Europe accounting for a major share; France's packaging industry ranks second in Europe. Demand across French economic sectors for packaging machinery and various packaging containers is very high, and flagship industries such as food, beauty, cosmetics, healthcare and hygiene products, and high-end luxury goods have especially strict requirements for packaging quality. This has stimulated the development of France's packaging industry and attracted the world's best packaging companies.
