Aoke Group Cigarette Label Printer Places Repeat Order for Luster Packagingcheck-B Inspection System

In March 2009, a cigarette label printing company under Aoke Group, a giant in China's cigarette label printing industry, ordered a Packagingcheck-B inspection system from Luster. Luster did more than win on inspection capability: drawing on years of printing-industry experience, it studied the process traits of cigarette label printers and delivered a complete inspection, recording and handling solution. That solution significantly optimized the customer's production process and reduced total equipment investment by more than 40%. The collaboration with Aoke Form Printing secured a repeat purchase in cigarette label printing, showing that Luster's cigarette-label solution series has gained industry recognition.

The order also brings fresh customer validation for Luster LightVision's newly launched Packagingcheck inspection series, following two systems ordered by a Yunnan customer.

In 2008, Luster solved the laser-material inspection problem that had long challenged cigarette label printing inspection, greatly broadening the use of visual inspection equipment in the cigarette label printing sector. Building on that work, Luster developed the Packagingcheck-B inspection system around the specific characteristics of cigarette label printing. It integrates Luster's laser inspection technology and dual-system joint inspection technology. Packagingcheck-B can inspect laser materials at Hualian Printing and also tackle many cigarette label inspection difficulties, including embossing, hot stamping, creasing, and gold and silver cardboard.

As a Chinese printing inspection equipment maker, Luster's success in once again securing a cigarette label printing order shows that China's independently developed printing inspection equipment can now fully meet domestic quality-control requirements for cigarette label inspection, where process demands are high. Chinese cigarette label printers can therefore access equipment with stronger inspection capability, support for complex processes, faster service, easier operation, and closer integration with the full process chain.
