On 25 April the 11th Chengdu Printing and Packaging Industry Expo came to a successful close at the Chengdu Century City New International Convention and Exhibition Centre. Across its four-day run, the show joined forces with more than 400 exhibiting companies and over 1,000 brands, and greeted 24,183 trade visitors from across the country, together creating the annual flagship gathering of the western printing and packaging industry.

Their talks and exchanges drew an enthusiastic response from the floor.

In terms of floor planning, this edition was built around four dedicated sections - corrugated and colour box packaging, packaging and printing finished products and containers, digital quick printing and graphic office, and printing labels. Tens of thousands of new machines and materials for printing, packaging and graphic communications went on show, spanning printing presses, copiers, printers, perfect binders, paper cutters, card cutters, laminators, photographic paper, laser printing paper, print heads, gears and toner - once again delivering an annual trade platform that brings together business matching, brand display, new product launches and information exchange.

Beyond machinery and materials, the Chengdu Printing and Packaging Fine Products Zone, the Chengdu Liquor Packaging Fine Products Zone and the Chengdu Packaging Fine Products Zone set up on site also drew crowds of visitors throughout the show. Close to a hundred printing and packaging businesses - among them Licai Group, Yuto Packaging, Sun Bird, Jinyadi, Longxin, Borui, Meifeishewu, Tianxing, Shunyin Tianxia and Hezhong Chuangya - presented premium printed and packaging items and finished goods covering liquor packaging, book and periodical printing, paper packaging printing, plastic product printing, fabric printing, label printing and bottle, can, drum and box printing. Together they showcased the manufacturing strength of Sichuan's printing and packaging sector from every angle, sparking fresh ideas among visitors and empowering the ongoing build-out of an era of printing and packaging fine products.

Running alongside the show were the Chengdu Packaging Technology Association Members Training Conference, the 4th China Western (Chengdu) Liquor Packaging Industry Summit Forum, the 2021 Label Technology Application Summit Forum, the 2021 Chengdu Printing and Packaging Fine Products Exhibition and the Chengdu Liquor Packaging Fine Products Exhibition, plus the Equipment Purchase Travel Subsidy and Red Envelope Draw - all of which met with an enthusiastic response. During the show, printing and packaging associations from more than 50 provinces and cities nationwide organised delegations to visit and buy. With its exhibition + fine products exhibition + training conference format, the event remains the number one printing and packaging industry show in western China.
